RTM Physiatry & Psychiatry, PLLC, provides the personalized, one-on-one care you deserve in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Our Physician, Thresiamma Mathew, M.D., is a Physiatrist specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. After she graduated from T.D. Medical College, India, she completed her Internship in General Surgery from Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center/New York Medical College and her Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from Metropolitan Hospital Center in New York Medical College. Currently, she works as an Attending Physician in the outpatient department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Queens Hospital Center, affiliated with Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. The Physician performs an Initial Evaluation through patient histories and a thorough physical examination, diagnoses and treats injuries and conditions, and directs your expanded treatment using non-surgical methods.
 
Physiatrists focus on treating patients in pain or who have been disabled due to disease, condition, disorder, or injury. Patients receive a personalized treatment method to improve their quality of life. As a result, patients' recovery involves every aspect of their lives. Our Physician has more than 20 years of experience and is up to date with all current techniques and treatments. Our patients receive individual attention during each visit. Our goal is to restore each patient's highest possible level of function.
